It’s time to SWEAT!!

A great way to detox is to sweat it out. At Lymphie Strong we are always evolving and updating our themes for our challenges. This year is no exception. For the first time ever, we will host a HIIT, or high-intensity interval training challenge called the Lymphie Strong Sweat HIIT Out Challenge. This is a training technique in which you give all-out 100% effort through quick, intense bursts of exercise, followed by short, sometimes active, recovery periods. This type of training gets and keeps your heart rate up and burns more fat in less time. Some of the benefits of HIIT are similar to other forms of exercise such improved metabolism, a lower heart rate and blood pressure, and lower blood sugar.

You need a minimum of 3 check-ins per week for this challenge. Absoyogalutely will host a FREE H.I.I.T virtual class every Thursday at 6 PM Central Daylight time. If you miss the class in-person, you can watch the recording.

We always promote “you know your body and you know what you can and cannot do based on any medical conditions” and we always say “if your doctor approves…” This means you always reserve the option to do your own home routine or make any modifications you need to do. It is also an opportunity to try something NEW! Make it fun!

New to HIIT?

How long should a beginner do HIIT? 10-15 minutes. As a beginner, you can aim for 10-15 minutes of HIIT and increase the number of intervals for a longer workout as your fitness improves.

Checklist

  • Add movethatlymphchallenge@gmail.com to your email contacts. All one-to-one communication will be via email including any questions.
  • You will receive a virtual bib number as your identifier in the challenges via email as well as the link to the group.  Use it as your hashtag in addition to #movethatlymph #absoyogalutely #lymphiestrong. 
  • Your email will include a link to optional private Facebook groups and a waiver from Absoyogalutely.
  • Four free Zoom classes will be hosted by Absoyogalutely on May 6th, `13th, 20th, and 27th at 6 PM CDT. Class information will be emailed.
  • If you are unable to attend the classes, a recording will be sent out by the following day.
