Exciting New Program, Ask A CLT, featuring Carmen Recupero, BS, LPTA, CMT, CLT, WCC

Event Reminder: Tue Nov 19 7PM EST via FB Live. It can be replayed later if you miss it.

NOVEMBER TOPIC: Lymphorrhea

Many patients have experienced or will experience leaking or weeping of fluid called lymphorrhea. The light, amber-colored fluid that is beading and trickling from the skin is called lymph. Lymph may leak due to any breakage in the skin (bite, cut, abrasion, etc) or when the skin becomes so tight that the lymph has nowhere to go but to seep out. It is important to have knowledge on how to manage it in order to avoid complications such as infection.

Ask A CLT

Ask A CLT featuring Carmen Recupero is a monthly program sponsored by Monarch Continuing Education, which will be aimed at addressing common questions lymphedema patients have that will help empower them with knowledge in an online support group community environment.

The Official Lymphie Strong Inspiration Group for Lymphedema is incredibly thankful to have this resource.
