Lymphie Strong #MOVETHATLYMPH Cafe

It’s officially the first day of Fall in the United States, and we are rapidly approaching the end of year. That doesn’t mean that we have to wait for the New Year to kick off new ideas.

I am thrilled to announce the launch of the Lymphie Strong #MOVETHATLYMPH Cafe – Food for Fitness. This was based on feedback and demand from our group members. For many, food and fitness go hand in hand. We recognize this and will work towards incorporating it going forward.

This program will be different from our Lymphedema Sugar Busters Support Group. The food topics in LRFC will be related to using food as a mechanism to improve muscle build, muscle repair, endurance, repair inflammation, and other areas commonly found in fitness magazines.

  • Shakes & Smoothies
  • Salads
  • Bowls
  • Avocado Toast
  • Snacks (camping and hiking)
  • Teas (yoga, repair inflammation)

These are our starter topics, and they will grow over time. All information shared will be for informational purposes only. We will never tell you what to eat or how to workout. What we can do is share ideas and the possibilities for you to try and get clearance from your own medical team on what might work for you.
