#MOVETHATLYMPH 2021 Lymphedema Virtual Race

Cuter Than Cupid Cardio Challenge #MoveThatLymph

Love is in the air — and so is circulation. This Valentine’s season, we’re celebrating the most important relationship you’ll ever have: the one with your own heart. The Cuter Than Cupid Cardio Challenge is all about moving that heart to move that lymph. Because when your heart pumps stronger, your lymph flows better.

Cardio is one of the most powerful tools we have for lymphatic health. It stimulates lymphatic flow, supports venous return, helps reduce swelling, improves endurance, strengthens the immune system, and builds stamina needed to manage compression and daily mobility. For those living with lymphedema, consistent cardiovascular movement can mean better symptom management and greater long-term independence.

This isn’t about running marathons or chasing perfection. It’s about intentional heart-centered movement. Walking, cycling, dancing in your kitchen, rebounding, swimming, elliptical, chair cardio — if it elevates your heart rate safely, it counts.

So this February, skip the pressure and choose movement as an act of self-love. Strut your stuff. Wear the pink. Move with purpose. When you move your heart, you move your lymph — and that’s the sweetest kind of Valentine. 💗

Challenge duration: February 14 – 28, 2026

Registration window:  February 13 – 17, 2026

💗 How It Works

How the Challenge Works
The challenge is simple and inclusive by design. The goal is to move your body intentionally each day in whatever way works best for you for at least 10 minutes – one minute for every year .

There are no mileage requirements, pace goals, or performance benchmarks. Walking, running, rolling, stretching, rebounding, swimming, physical therapy exercises, chair movement, and gentle range-of-motion all count.

You choose the time, the intensity, and the type of movement. The focus is consistency, not comparison.

Please check-in when you can with the Facebook group at least 2 x a week.

✨ Final Thought

Why This Matters
For 10 years, this group has proven that movement doesn’t have to look the same to matter. Bodies change. Abilities shift. Life happens. What hasn’t changed is our commitment to showing up for ourselves and each other. The 10th Anniversary of Move That Lymph is about honoring that legacy and setting the tone for the year ahead.

Move how you can. Move when you can. Keep moving forward — together.
