Lymphedema Awareness is important all year round, and we all do our best to spread the information. March is just a little bit special because it is our month to shine โœจso we go all out with March 6th designated as World Lymphedema Day. This year is a little bit different for me since Iโ€™m still in recovery from COVID-19, but we wonโ€™t let that stop us!

Congratulations to the awesome team at the Lymphatic Center / Lymphatic Surgery at BIDMC/Harvard Medical School including Anna Rose Johnson, MD MPH, Kathleen Shillue, PT, DPT, OCS, CLT, and Dr. Dhruv Singhal, et al. Published findings highlighting the promise of immediate lymphatic reconstruction for the surgical prevention of #lymphedema.
